The full potential of a military metaverse

The metaverse. It’s likely that by now you’ve heard of it, but let’s start with defining it. Generally, a metaverse is shorthand for a series of interconnected and immersive virtual worlds that afford their users a sense of presence via agency and influence. We are already starting to see this take form in things like virtual concerts, but what does it mean for defense?
